Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant – EAL to support the effective delivery of student administration and services within the Foundation Directorate. This is a great opportunity to contribute to student lifecycle support, drive administrative excellence, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level administrative support across the student lifecycle, including enrolments, amendments, completions, and enquiries
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems (electronic and hardcopy)
- Support meetings, events, and departmental projects
- Use systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, CELCAT, and STRATA
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team development
- Relevant vocational qualifications and/or extensive experience in administrative support
- Strong organisational and document management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student management systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
