Your Role

As a Switchboard Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of custom-built switchboards. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Assembling and fitting components onto switchboard chassis.
  • Wiring control circuits and power distribution systems.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and layout drawings.
  • Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and complies with specifications.
  • Collaborating with the workshop team to meet production deadlines.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in electrical switchboard manufacturing, fitting, or wiring.
  • The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
  • A strong understanding of electrical components and assembly techniques.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • A positive attitude and a reliable work ethic.
  • Relevant trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
