Business Operations Administrator - Maximum Term 12 months Full-time - South Metro Depot
This position is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of generalist operational business support and administrative office services and activities, ensuring a high level of customer service and capturing information to meet business and legislative requirements.
This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Your Role in Action
- In performing this role, the incumbent is required to contribute to an inclusive, effective, and safe working environment by taking responsibility for his/her decisions and behaviours, and the consequences of these.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensures business support results are achieved. Proactively managing business process hand-offs between own activity and other areas; or ensuring the process and outcomes comply with company policy in the area.
- Uses own initiative to follow up and resolve issues where required. Be bold and embrace change.
- Act as central point of contact for customers ensuring enquiries are redirected appropriately and concluded to customers satisfaction (Field Operations) OR process queries and assist communication with relevant parts of the organisation and external stakeholders (Customer Service).
- The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain strong customer focus.
- Co-ordinating administrative processes to deliver required outcomes.
- The use of appropriate systems, work instructions, and procedures to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of workflow.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with English and Mathematics and / or at least 3 year's demonstrated general administration experience.
- At least 2 to 3 years demonstrated experience in provided administrative office and or operational support services with knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
- Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
- Understanding of administrative functions and office practices.
- Able to deliver high quality, professional, customer focused administrative services.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
