About the role
Are you an experienced medical professional with a passion for leadership and scientific excellence? We're looking for a Medical Lead to drive medical strategy and innovation, and engage with healthcare professionals, providing technical expertise to support our Oncology portfolio.
As a Medical Lead, you'll play a key role in pre-launch and launch activities, external engagement, and ensuring governance excellence.
Your role will be varied and will include:
- Develop and execute medical strategies and tactics to support GSK's business objectives.
- Lead medical projects and initiatives, including education programs for healthcare professionals.
- Build and maintain relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, and researchers.
- Provide medical and technical expertise for scientific submissions, promotional materials, and clinical trial activities.
- Represent GSK at medical conferences and symposia, fostering robust scientific dialogue.
- Drive innovation and omnichannel approaches to medical activities and engagements.
About you
We're seeking a dedicated and experienced medical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about advancing oncology care. If you have the expertise, leadership skills, and drive to make a difference, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
You'll need:
- A degree in science, pharmacy, or medicine. Postgraduate qualifications in a related field will be highly desirable.
- 3+ years of Medical Manager experience, ideally in oncology.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and navigate matrix management.
- Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- A deep understanding of Australian medical practice, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement processes.
