General Practitioner (senior GP position available also)

Melbourne – Flexible 2–10 shifts per week (4 hr shifts); option for senior/lead position

We are looking for an experienced General Practitioner to join a well-established private clinic in Melbourne. The practice is known for delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and building long-term patient relationships. With a strong referral base and a collaborative team environment, this is an excellent opportunity for a GP who wants to grow their career while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.

The position

You'll be consulting across a broad range of general practice services, including:

  • Acute and chronic disease management
  • Preventative health checks, screening, and immunisations
  • Women's health, men's health, and shared maternity care
  • Mental health consultations and management plans
  • Skin and mole checks, minor procedures, IUD work, and travel medicine
  • Patient education and ongoing health management

For those interested, there is the opportunity to step into a
Senior / Lead GP role
, which will include:

  • Supporting the clinical direction of the practice
  • Mentoring registrars and junior doctors
  • Helping shape patient pathways and care delivery models
  • Contributing to broader community health initiatives
