Maternity Leave Contract

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Psychology educator to join our Secondary Girls' School in 2026 on a part time basis at a .2 load.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and rigorous psychology instruction for
  VCE 3.4
• Develop and implement differentiated teaching programs to meet the needs of diverse learners keeping mental wellbeing at the forefront
• Work collaboratively with faculty colleagues to support quality teaching and curriculum innovation
• Monitor, assess, and report on student learning and progress
• Foster a respectful, supportive, and aspirational classroom culture

About You:

• Proven success teaching Psychology at the secondary level (including VCE 3.4)
• Strong content knowledge and understanding of current best practice in psychology teaching methods
• Effective classroom management and a relational approach to student engagement
• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with staff and contribute to faculty goals
• Current VIT registration
• A commitment to child safety and an understanding of the Child Safe Standards
