Maternity Leave Contract
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Psychology educator to join our Secondary Girls' School in 2026 on a part time basis at a .2 load.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and rigorous psychology instruction for
VCE 3.4 - Develop and implement differentiated teaching programs to meet the needs of diverse learners keeping mental wellbeing at the forefront
- Work collaboratively with faculty colleagues to support quality teaching and curriculum innovation
- Monitor, assess, and report on student learning and progress
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and aspirational classroom culture
About You:
- Proven success teaching Psychology at the secondary level (including VCE 3.4)
- Strong content knowledge and understanding of current best practice in psychology teaching methods
- Effective classroom management and a relational approach to student engagement
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with staff and contribute to faculty goals
- Current VIT registration
- A commitment to child safety and an understanding of the Child Safe Standards
