ARA Electrical High Voltage Services Pty Ltd is currently looking for suitable candidates to join our expanding workforce based from our Wollongong / Illawarra / South Coast operations. Reporting to our Site Foreman / Project Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced linesman to join our team, where you will play in integral part in the successful delivery of multiple customer projects.To be considered for this role we note the following requirements: -About YouQualified Linesman – experience with Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy networks is preferredHold a current Driver's licenceAbility to read and understand construction standards for authority networksExperience in supervising apprenticesConstruction OH&S Induction CardHold MR or higher Truck LicenceHold High Risk Work License - Elevated Work Platform >13mExperience working in an Infrastructure Services environmentGood communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesWork onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews dailyWorking out of EWP and/or LadderWilling and able to be part of a team working a reasonable amount of overtimeCommunicate/report on scheduled works changes or to Field SupervisorOrganise and prepare hardware and materials for projectsTest and commission HV and LV equipment to be energisedFill out and complete inspection test checklist for authority networks
