About the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated personal care worker to join our team in the city of Merri-Bek Area on a Permanent Part-Time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to our aged care clients within an in-home care setting. We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours on weekdays.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist clients at home with general house cleaning, tidying and shopping.
- Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
- Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
- Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
- Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Based in the city of Merri-Bek
- Available Mondays - Fridays 9 30am – 5pm.
- Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
- Current Australian Driver's license and access to a registered and vehicle with insurance.
