About the Role

Reporting to the Paint Supervisor, your duties will be the preparation of ARB products, such as canopies and bull bars prior to painting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Quality check for any manufacturing defects.
• Removing weld splatter.
• For bars - Check weld tag part number against work order part number.
• Sanding fabricated parts/canopy shell with an orbital sander.
• Rub down fabricated parts/canopy shell with abrasives such as sandpaper or scotchbrite.
• Remove dust from fabricated parts/canopy shell.
• For canopy shells – mask up the canopy to prevent overspray
• Maintenance of tools.
• Booth housekeeping.
• Perform all duties safely and in accordance with SOPs and other training provided.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• No experience necessary. Ability to learn a must
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets.
• An eye for detail and a high-quality standard.
• A high level of housekeeping standards. Sound time management.
• You will need to adhere to ARB's strict standard operating procedures.
