Drake Recruitment Perth is seeking a Storeperson for an immediate start with one of our valued clients in the steel manufacturing and distribution industry. This is a full-time casual position with the strong opportunity to transition to permanent after a short probation period.

In this hands-on role, you will be working in a trade-related environment, undertaking a variety of warehouse and manual tasks including (but not limited to):

  • Picking, packing and stock control
  • Forklift operation (desirable)
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties and manual handling
  • Basic customer service
  • Supporting the wider warehouse and production teams

We are seeking someone who brings:

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or trade-related experience
  • A current Australian forklift licence (desirable)
  • Physical fitness and the ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
  • A current police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Reliability, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
  • Valid Australian work rights (long term)
  • A driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Availability to interview and start at short notice
