We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems including networks, printers, and servers.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors.
  • Document issues, solutions, and create support guides as needed.
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding users and setting up new workstations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $300.00 – $350.00 per day
