Eco Tile Factory is a boutique tile company, established over 30 years ago. Based in Norwoood, we specialise in tessellated, heritage, cement encaustics, porcelain wall tiles, stones and mosaics. We work with the public as well as architects, designers, developers, builders and tilers.

Situated within the Adelaide Restoration Centre, we are a small to medium business and are currently looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team. We seek a person experienced in showroom sales and passionate about Interior Design. We are initially offering 2-3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday 9-5 & alternate Saturdays 9-2)

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer service including design assistance, product selection and providing quotations
  • Liaise with builders and tilers
  • Maintaining showroom displays

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working in a retail environment
  • High level sale skills
  • Intermediate interior design experience
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills to enable the sales process to be professional and friendly
  • Work well independently and as part of a small team

Other Requirements

  • Physically fit as there is some lifting/ manual handling involved
  • Flexibility with shifts. Available on alternate Saturdays 9am-2pm & be willing to cover staff leave when necessary
  • Interested in a long term position
  • Have Australian work rights

Tile experience is highly regarded (but not essential) as we will train and help you to learn about our products and how to sell them.
