Neuro Scrub/Scout Nurse

We are looking for experienced Scrub/Scout nurses in the neurosurgical specialty, aspiring to further their career.

As a Neuro Scrub/Scout Nurse you'll have the following skills:

• A genuine passion to work within the operating Theatre in neurosurgery
• Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
• The ability to stay calm under pressure
• A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills
• Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs
• Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Ability and willingness to cross-train within clinical specialties
• A genuine commitment to providing compassionate care that aligns with Wyvern Private Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy

Other Requirements:

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Scrub/Scout with a neurosurgery specialty
• Valid Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• 100-point ID check
• Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)
• Proof of vaccinations
• Blood Safe e learning
