Maintenance Assessor

Hunter Homes is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assessor to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who brings a strong understanding of building industry standards and tolerances, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering quality service to our clients.

As a Maintenance Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, preparing detailed reports, coordinating maintenance works, and ensuring all rectifications are completed to a high standard. You'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and care, supporting clients throughout their maintenance journey, and ensuring their homes are presented to the highest standard.

Your ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external trades will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site maintenance inspections and assess rectification requirements
• Prepare and complete detailed reports in line with company processes
• Raise and manage inspections within Companion (our internal system)
• Arrange and release work orders to relevant trades and suppliers
• Communicate with clients professionally and respectfully within their homes
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance items
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records

• Thorough understanding of industry standards, tolerances, and construction processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• Positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Computer literacy and administrative competence
• Companion system knowledge will be highly regarded
