About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and emotionally intelligent Disability Support Worker to join the team supporting a young person with disability who lives in Glenning Valley (between Tuggerah and The Entrance). They have high behaviours, a cheeky sense of humour and thrives when surrounded by calm, consistent and respectful support.

This is not a drop-in role or one of many clients, you'll be part of a close-knit support team providing in-home and community-based support to one individual.

Shifts Offered

  • Variety of shifts available (weekday, evening, and weekend)
  • We're ideally looking for someone flexible and reliable

What You'll Do

  • Build genuine, consistent rapport with one client
  • Support participant with personal care, daily routines, and household tasks
  • Engage in recreational and community activities
  • Maintain a calm, proactive presence during behavioural incidents
  • Work closely with a team that shares updates and supports each other

What You'll Bring

  • Confidence in working with high behavioural support needs
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and consistent approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

You'll Need:

  • Experience working in disability support (behavioural experience highly valued)
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Paid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full working rights in Australia
