Position: Disability Support Worker

Location: Limestone Coast Region, SA

At Serene Country Living, we provide high-quality, person-centred care for people living with disability, including participants with challenging behaviours and mental health conditions. We are seeking compassionate and resilient Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team. About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide daily living assistance, personal care, and community access.
  • Support participants with complex behaviours and mental health challenges using trauma-informed, person-centred approaches.
  • Implement Behaviour Support Plans and de-escalation strategies.
  • Encourage independence while maintaining safety and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with families, health professionals, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold NDIS Practice Standards.

  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviours and high-stress situations.

  • Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or related qualification/experience).
  • Current First Aid & CPR.
  • Driver's licence & reliable vehicle.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours and mental health conditions (preferred)
