• Salary:  WHA-2 $ $28.82 per hour plus 25% casual loading - Casual, working over a 7 day roster

Overview

The Role

As a Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the Catering, Cleaning and Laundry of the health unit. Duties may include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, general housekeeping and laundry duties as required.

Eligibility & Requirements

The successful applicant will hold the following essential minimum requirements:

• A current driver's licence and a willingness to drive on country roads.
• Flexibility and commitment to participate in a rostering system (including weekends as required)
• At minimum, a limited level of experience in the areas of housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry.
• Experience working with Aboriginal consumers
• A basic knowledge of safe working conditions, Food Safety Standards and Infection Control Standards (including cleaning and sanitizing processes).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable

• Successful completion of Year 11 High School or equivalent
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Experience in the areas of housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry
