Colour Matcher / Ink Technician (Flexographic)

Hubergroup is a well-established, global organisation who boasts a strong reputation as market leader in the supply of high-quality packaging and specialty printing inks and consumables.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Colour Matcher / Ink Technician who will preferably have an understanding of the flexographic printing process, or related discipline (e.g., paints).
Key duties:
- Planning and execution of production requirements, including Colour-matching & manufacturing of inks.
- Responsible for Quality Control of ink production and measurement vs. KPI's
- Measurement of Ink and print performance, including preparation of regular reports.
- Project work & evaluations.
The successful candidate will possess a strong set of analytical skills, together with a high attention to detail & sound understanding of colour.
To be successful in this role, you require:
- Knowledge of colour matching practices.
- Demonstrated colour matching skills.
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in colour matching is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of printing ink and consumable products, or related field (e.g., Paints).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field
- A hands-on approach.
- Strong organizational & troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people.
- Experience using spectrophotometry will be highly regarded.
- Familiar with various Microsoft packages
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
