ABOUT THE COMPANY
Essendon Private Clinic (EPC) is a specialist 32 bed Sub Acute Mental Health Service located in Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs. EPC has an In-patient service, Day Programs, Trans Magnetic Stimulation service.
ABOUT THE ROLE
EPC is seeking Qualified Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse and experienced mental health for permanent part-time and Casual positions in the Hospital's In -patient Unit.

DUTIES
- Provide direct patient care and management of Clinical Patient matters.
- Safe and appropriate administration of medications.
- Contribute to all aspects related to the daily operation of the In- patient unit
- Undertake specific liaison with the medical team
- Liaise with all stakeholders around issues of clinical care and management
- Work alongside and support other suitably qualified and experienced staff
- Be Involved in quality and accreditation processes as relevant
- Support the Hospital intake for admissions and patient management
- Actively contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Hospital
- Flexible to work on rotating roster needs.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Psychiatric Nursing qualifications or currently working towards gaining Mental Health Nursing Qualifications.
- Demonstrated desire to continue to learn
- Ability work alongside and provide support to other staff as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to deliver excellent clinical care
- Flexibility to work on rotating roster needs of Hospital.
- A considerate and positive attitude
- Previous role within a Mental Health facility (desirable)
- Knowledge of or having worked in the private sector (desirable)
Required on Application:
· A current Police records check is required for this position.
· Current AHPRA Registration.
· Copy of post graduate qualifications in mental health Nursing.
· Vaccination Record.
