About The Role
We're on the lookout for a hands-on Warehouse Support team member to join our busy Altona delivery centre. If you've got experience working in a warehouse environment and are confident liaising with drivers, coordinating deliveries, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the role for you.
You will be the go-to person for supporting the flow of packages in and out of the site, helping to prepare daily loads, coordinating with delivery partners, supporting drivers on the road, and jumping in where needed to keep everything moving efficiently. You'll also work closely with Operation Supervisors and the wider team to ensure issues are flagged early and resolved quickly.

Schedule:
12:00pm – 8:00pm. Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily delivery operations by preparing reports and assisting with package tracking and processing.
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages, including returns, to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
- Work closely with Drivers and Delivery Partners to coordinate loadout and resolve any delivery issues quickly.
- Liaise with the call center to assist with customer updates or queries, providing on-the-ground support, and occasionally contacting customers directly via phone or email.
- Partner with Supervisors and team members to maintain smooth, day-to-day operations across the delivery centre.
- Jump in to assist with truck loading and unloading, ensuring packages are sorted and ready on time.
- Support the sortation team during peak times to meet delivery deadlines.
- Keep accurate records through data entry and escalate any issues or special cases to Supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Experience in a warehouse position and in the transportation sector.
- Strong customer service and solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 25kgs.
