Online Trainers & Assessors | Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, AOD
Salary: AU$80,000.00 per year (pro-rata for part-time) + superannuation
Hader Institute of Education is one of Australia's leading online providers of nationally recognised qualifications in Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, and Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD).
We are seeking experienced and passionate Online Trainers & Assessors to join our growing team and deliver high-quality training and assessment across the following qualifications:
- Certificate IV and Diploma of Youth Work
- Certificate IV and Diploma of Community Services
- Certificate IV and Diploma of Mental Health
- Certificate IV and Diploma of Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD)
Opportunities: Multiple permanent part-time and full-time positions available. As a night school, these roles require availability Monday–Thursday (minimum 2 evenings per week, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm). Delivery is fully online, including live virtual classes and assessor-led role-play simulations.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
- Vocational competency at least to the level being delivered and assessed (e.g., Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, or AOD).
- Current training and assessment credential:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, OR
- TAE40116 with required upgrade units (to meet 2025 Standards).
- Industry currency in Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, and/or AOD.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and assessment, supported by ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrated capability in eLearning delivery, role-play facilitation, and engaging online learning environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse learners.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work collaboratively in a remote team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with aXcelerate (LMS).
- Familiarity with Turnitin for academic integrity checks.
- Proficiency with Calendly or other scheduling systems.
