Amherst Psychology is home to a down to earth and diverse team of skilled, compassionate psychologists. We offer a wide range of therapy and assessment services across the lifespan and it's no secret that we're particularly passionate about the areas of neurodiversity affirming and trauma responsive care.

Psychologist – Assessment Team
Clinical Supervisor / Psychologist – Assessment Team
About you
• You have at least at least 2 years' experience providing assessment services and you're committed to neuro-affirming practice
• For our Clinical Supervisor/Psychologist role, you will have at least 2 years' experience mentoring or supervising psychologists providing neuro-affirming assessment services. If you're not a Board Approved Supervisor, that's ok, we'll support you with this during your initial 6 months with us.
• You value ongoing personal and professional growth
• You enjoy working within a team and actively contributing to its development and growth
• You're down to earth, appreciate a laugh, and only bring out the psychological jargon when necessary
• You enjoy both sharing your knowledge with others, and learning from others
• You are looking for a group practice with great administrative and clinical support, so that you can focus your energy on client work
• If you're considering our Clinical Supervisor role, you're passionate about mentoring or supervising others and would enjoy building your skills in these areas with the support of great clinical supervisors.
About the role
We're looking forward to welcoming full-time or part-time psychologists with skills and interest in one or more of the following areas:
• Neuroaffirming assessment services for children and adolescents, including identification of ADHD, autism, and specific learning disorders.
• Neuroaffirming assessment services for adults including identification of ADHD, autism, and specific learning disorders.
• Neuroaffirming and trauma-responsive psychological therapy services for children and adolescents.
• Neuroaffirming and trauma-responsive psychological therapy services for adults.
What you'll enjoy
• A supportive and welcoming team where peers freely share their diverse knowledge
• Regular individual and group supervision, including group supervision from subject-matter experts in specific practice areas (e.g., neuroaffirming assessment, neurodiversity friendly couples therapy, EMDR, and child therapy)

• A culture of feedback, including the use of digital Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) Outcomes across the practice, and regular meetings with our leadership team to both provide and receive feedback
• Our in-house professional development program, including a range of external subject-matter expert presenters throughout the year
• A great range of affirming resources for therapy and assessment (including MIGDAS and other tools, a psychology library, neurodivergent created card packs, EMDR Kits)
• Beautifully appointed consulting rooms including sit/stand desks, ergonomic workstations, and great tech
• Opportunities to share your knowledge with our team and the broader community through presentations, blog articles, etc.
