Support Worker – Northern Sydney

The Role

Be the core support person for a young adult NDIS participant in Northern Sydney. You'll work consistent weekly shifts with one participant as their primary support, plus optional additional shifts around Sydney.

Your Regular Roster:

Short, manageable shifts – mostly 3-4 hours

• Tuesday evening (4 hours)
• Wednesday afternoon (3 hours)
• Friday – full day split shift (7 hours total)
• Saturday afternoon (4 hours)
• Sunday afternoon (4 hours)
• Thursday evening (4 hours) – starting in 4 weeks

Total: 25-26 hours per week – consistent, manageable shifts that fit around your life while providing competitive part-time income. Perfect for maintaining energy and quality support without burnout.

Optional: Additional flexible weekday shift in Sydney, South-West Sydney, Inner West and Western Sydney.

You'll be the primary worker for these shifts, with occasional cover for leave or extra shifts as needed.

What You Need

Essential:

• Experienced and assertive support worker, aged 25s–50s (participant's preference)
• 1+ years of disability support experience and trauma-informed
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Comprehensive insurance suitable for transporting participants
• Physical capability for safe personal care and community outings
• Available for the full roster as above (evenings and weekends)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates

Preferred:

• Behaviour support experience or working in a multidisciplinary enviroment
• Certificate III or IV in Disability
• Comfortable with technology for notes and communication
