CATALINA IS NOW HIRING LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED FLOOR STAFF TO JOIN THE TEAM

CATALINA Rose Bay, Sydney's most iconic harbourside restaurant is looking for enthusiastic professionals to join the team. With a beautiful menu, award winning wine list and magnificent setting, CATALINA is a busy, fun, rewarding restaurant.

We have both Full time and Casual positions available for an energetic, responsible, knowledgeable professional with at least 3 years experience in similar fine dining establishments.

Job tasks and responsibilities

After learning about the food, wine, history and culture at CATALINA, you will ultimately have joint responsibility with one of our Sommeliers for a section in our dining room, where you will recommend food, enter orders into the POS system, and work hand in hand with the Sommelier to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years hospitality experience in a restaurant of similar calibre
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent food knowledge, and an understanding of wine service a bonus
  • Must possess a true love of hospitality and customer service skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills (and be fluent in English)
  • Must be well presented at all times, have a great worth ethic and have a proven ability to perform under pressure
  • Must have a current NSW RSA Certificate
  • Must be flexible with shifts and available weekends
