What's the role?

You'll be at the heart of supporting one of Australia's most vital sectors – Agribusiness (Northwest Tasmania). As a Agribusiness Banking Manager/Relationship Manager  based in Smithton TAS, you'll lead relationships with key players in the agricultural industry, while also supporting large commercial clients. You'll work with businesses requiring lending solutions from $3M to $50M, helping them grow and thrive. You'll be well supported by our wider Agribusiness team with local support. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, backed by a dedicated Agribusiness and Commercial Banking team.

What do I need?

  • Agribusiness Expertise: Deep understanding of the agricultural sector, its cycles, and its challenges.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience supporting large commercial clients with complex lending needs.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to foster strong, long-term client partnerships.
  • Credit Skills: Strong in cashflow lending, balance sheet analysis, and deal structuring.
  • Business Development: Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing customer portfolios. Including acquiring new-to-bank customers and leveraging a well-established network of referral sources. 
  • Network Strength: A well-established network of industry and referral partners.
