Due to substantial growth, we are seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our Melbourne team. You will be joining our business operations and technical team. The split between driving and warehouse is approximately 70/30 with the larger proportion being driving.

This diverse role covers pick-ups and deliveries as well as in-house warehouse support for our operations and technical teams. In-house duties include inspection, assembly/ manufacturing, pick and pack, dispatching of lifting/ rigging and height safety stock.

You will be joining the Melbourne team at an exciting time as we are expanding and servicing some of Australia's largest Projects and Companies. You will be supported by an experienced local and national team who are committed to making a difference in the lifting and rigging industry.

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Deliveries and pickups
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Current Forklift licence preferred
  • Picking, packing, and processing of customer orders including dispatching
  • Assisting with workshop production and inspections in accordance with Australian standards
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a physically demanding role
  • Inventory management and stock takes

Highly Desirable

  • Previous Delivery Driver experience
  • Warehouse/ Workshop experience
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Forklift licence
  • Driver's licence
  • Motivation to learn and progress into other roles within the business
