Our mission is to help more people to hear The Opportunity Cochlear has an opportunity for a full-time Goods Inwards Inspector to work the PM shift (2:00 PM – 9:51 PM), based at our Macquarie office in Sydney. In this role, the successful Goods Inwards Inspector will perform inspections according to quality schedules, accept / reject product according to specifications to meet QMS requirements
Responsibilities include:
  • Return reject goods to supplier as per MMKt disposition procedures.
  • Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables.
  • Ensure product identification, storage, and handling in accordance with company requirements/processes.
  • Perform Virtual Oracle transactions of items direct shipped to suppliers.
  • Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accuracy in transactions carried out daily.

About You
  • Administrative experience
  • Experience in the use of measuring Equipment (Metric, callipers, micrometer)
  • Interpretation and Understanding of Technical Drawings (for metrology)
  • Good understanding of Quality requirements & Processes
  • Attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of Windows based programs, intermediate level PC skills essential
Ideal:
  • Experience in use of CLTD Oracle Environment
  • Experience in use of CLTD COBIS Environment
  • Intermediate level in use of MS Excel & Word
