The Opportunity
Our client is a leader in their Industry with a culture built on fun, respect, and hard work. They have a reputation for excellence and commitment and are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join their team. Based in the Inner West Suburbs, there is parking on site and this is an office-based role.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Financial reporting assistance
- Reconciliations and Collections
- Corporate Cards
- Monitoring the Asset Register
- Working with Journals/Accruals etc
- Looking after accounts up to trial balance
- Month End Accounts and BAS
- Petty cash & expense reporting
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Have worked across multiple systems and have good excel skills
- If you have worked in manufacturing or construction that would be advantageous
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Xero,MYOB).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
