The Opportunity

Our client is a leader in their Industry with a culture built on fun, respect, and hard work. They have a reputation for excellence and commitment and are seeking a diligent Bookkeeper to join their team. Based in the Inner West Suburbs, there is parking on site and this is an office-based role.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • General Ledger management
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Financial reporting assistance
  • Reconciliations and Collections
  • Corporate Cards
  • Monitoring the Asset Register
  • Working with Journals/Accruals etc
  • Looking after accounts up to trial balance
  • Month End Accounts and BAS
  • Petty cash & expense reporting

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Have worked across multiple systems and have good excel skills
  • If you have worked in manufacturing or construction that would be advantageous
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Xero,MYOB).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
