Our client in Central West NSW is the largest flour mill in Australia. They produce a full range of flours, ranging from low-protein biscuit flours and protein-enriched flours through to household and baker's flours and specialty flours tailored to the needs of their customers, both domestically and in many export markets.

They are currently looking for Cleaners and Packers to fill current vacancies within their business. 

This role is in Manildra, NSW 2865

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Cleaners 

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean factory and warehouse areas
  • Clean storage facilities (e.g. silos and bins)
  • Clean production equipment (e.g. conveyor lines)
  • Maintain cleanliness of staff work zones and amenity areas

  • Perform vacuuming and dust control on:

  • Machinery

  • Floor areas
  • General surfaces
  • Remove waste products

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning role
  • Physically fit for manual tasks
  • Capable of heavy lifting
  • Able to use various cleaning equipment
  • Must be available for day shifts (note: shift times may vary occasionally)

**Packers

Hours: Must be available to work a 12-hour shift roster which includes night shifts and some weekend work.**

  • Retrieving requested goods from storage
  • Operating packing machines and loading them with packing materials as required
  • Preparing and packing the goods to get them ready for shipment
  • Labelling packages, making special note of fragile or perishable items
  • Loading finished packages onto delivery trucks
  • Counting and correctly recording all packed items
  • Performing general warehouse duties such as monitoring inventory levels or basic cleaning
  • Must have forklift licence - high reach preferrable

Rates: $ $44.91
