We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our care team at Gordon Lodge, located at the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek.

In this role, you'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care that upholds the dignity, wellbeing, and preferences of our residents. You'll contribute to clinical assessments, care planning, and hands-on support, while supervising care staff to maintain the high standards RAAFA is known for.

This role as the EN will see you:

  • Assist with clinical assessments and contribute to resident care planning
  • Provide direct care and support in line with each resident's needs
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and report changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
  • Contribute to the evaluation of care plans and their effectiveness
  • Perform nursing tasks within your scope of practice
  • Supervise and guide care staff to ensure high-quality service delivery

About the Facility:

Located in the heart of our scenic Air Force Memorial Estate, Gordon Lodge is a beautifully refurbished 62-bed Residential Aged Care Centre, offering permanent, respite, and secure dementia care. The facility includes 51 single rooms with private ensuites and a secure 11-bed dementia-specific wing.

Set among landscaped gardens and overlooking a tranquil lake, Gordon Lodge is a welcoming place to live and a rewarding place to work.

About you:

We're looking for someone who brings compassion, clinical skills, and team spirit. You will ideally have:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • A clear understanding of the EN scope of practice and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Experience working in residential aged care (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents, families and colleagues
  • A positive, person-centred approach to care
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
