Your role as a LS/IT Superuser

Key responsibilities:

• To assist with the day-to-day use, operational management of and training in the company operating systems
• Exploring and implementing additional functionality related to both the Software and Hardware systems.
• Implementing all system updates and planning updates with the corresponding teams or departments.
• Bug detection and fixing with all systems both Software, Hardware, and Material Handling Equipment systems
• Engaging the internal WMS team to ensure WMS is working correctly and system improvements are completed
• Closely monitor and control all expenditure, focusing on IT related costs and reacting quickly to adverse variances.
• Complete local KPI templates and share information internally, engaging the local team to search for improvement opportunities.
• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Site Manager.
• Assisting the operation as required by the site, including:
• Support Business Development initiatives as and when required.
• Share best practice and standards with colleagues in other NewCold sites and join collaborative projects.
• Continually look to opportunities for improvement.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive in collaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:

• Relevant tertiary education in IT
• Min 5 years' experience as an IT Super User
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience managing Microsoft Windows Server operating system, Linux operating system, Active Directory, Cisco.
• Analytical
• Commercial Acumen
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent ability to work as an effective team member
