About the role

ECH is seeking a visionary Head of Home and Community to lead a large, multidisciplinary team delivering in-home care, allied health, and wellness services across South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of client centred care in a rapidly evolving and dynamic sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of 500+ clinical and operational professionals.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio including domestic support, nursing, allied health, and respite care.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with ECH's mission and values.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Report to the Chief Executive, Board, and sub-committees with clarity and insight.

About You

You are a dynamic and strategic leader with:

  • Executive-level experience in aged care, health, or community services.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams through change and growth.
  • Deep understanding of client directed care and wellness models.
  • Strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting capabilities.
  • A passion for purpose-driven leadership and making a meaningful impact.
