Our Grants team is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer to support the design and delivery of high-quality operational guidance, technical support and coordination to support the delivery of grants in the energy and climate change portfolio. As Project Officer, you will support program teams by facilitating the development and implementation of appropriate governance and risk management practices, building grant management capabilities and promoting best practice grants administration.

About You
Collaboration is one of your key strengths supported by a background in successfully delivering a range of grant administration and support services within tight deadlines. You are a detailed-orientated and motivated professional with a keen interest in supporting the delivery of grants. You bring proven skills in project planning, development of comprehensive support materials, organisation and problem solving. In addition, you take pride in stakeholder communication to ensure that project deliverables are met to a high standard.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Proven project management skills including the demonstrated ability to deliver agreed outcomes, and demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Direct experience in managing grant programs and using a grant management system (i.e. SmartyGrants) would be preferred
