We're an ISO 9001–certified specialist servicing overhead cranes, hoists, lifting gear across WA's mining, energy, marine and manufacturing sectors. With growing demand, we're adding a hands-on Crane Technician to our Perth team.

The role

You'll carry out electrical service, repairs and commissioning on overhead cranes and hoists in accordance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 1418 and AS 2550, including:

  • Fault-finding and breakdowns
  • Routine maintenance, statutory inspections, and third-party/major (10-year/25-year) inspections
  • Installations, upgrades and load testing (with our in-house test gear)
  • Occasional mechanical tasks (rope & wheel changes, alignments)
  • Site reports, risk assessments and client sign-off

Work is a combination of Perth-metro with site travel (WA remote) and optional interstate/overseas work for the right person.

What you'll need (must-haves)
  • Electrical Worker's Licence or Restricted Electricted
  • Current C Class driver's licence, White Card, LVR/CPR
  • Solid experience with industrial machinery
  • Mechanical skills and aptitude
  • Strong fault-finding and inspection skills
  • Safety-first mindset and tidy workmanship; able to pass D&A and medical
Nice to have (bonus points)
  • Working at Heights / EWP / Forklift / Dogging or Rigging
  • Experience with reporting, load cells and test equipment
  • Exposure to major inspections, NDT coordination, potentially marine/offshore cranes
