Plant Mechanic | Ravensworth or Hunter Valley Operations (HVO)

WesTrac is seeking experienced Plant Mechanics to join our team on multiple sites throughout the Hunter Valley Region.

As a Plant Mechanic at WesTrac, you can expect to utilise your mechanical expertise to inspect, maintain, and repair a range of Caterpillar equipment. With a key focus on safety, you will work alongside a skilled team of technicians to ensure our customers get the most from their machines and ensure minimal machine downtime.

Roster & Remuneration

  • Multiple site options available- Ravensworth or Hunter Valley Operations (HVO)
  • Lifestyle roster - working 14/28 with a combination of day and night shifts
  • Site incentive schemes
  • Shift allowance & attractive location allowance applied to all hours worked
  • Potential earnings from $135,000 - $180,000

*Rates above are a guide only; each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience*

Skills & Experience

  • Mobile Plant & COP highly regarded
  • Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification & COP may be taken into consideration
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
  • Working at heights (desirable)
  • MDG25 (desirable)
  • Generic Glencore Induction (desirable)
