We are looking for a person who values the same things we do, a person who can help us continue to deliver balanced outcomes for our clients and is keen to be part of the E2M team. The person we are looking for is a University Graduate or Early Years Professional. We are looking for someone who is keen to start their career as a consulting ecologist.

Ideally, we are looking for a person who can fulfil a full-time role.

Your abilities and skills are likely to include:

  • a university degree in environmental science or equivalent
  • a passion for the natural environment and achieving conservation outcomes for major projects
  • a thirst for learning and being keen to get involved
  • willingness to work in the field (away from home for up to 14 consecutive days). This includes: long days, challenging terrain, bad food (sense of humour preferred)
  • excellent writing skills. Our ability to tell the story of what we saw and what it means for a client is essential for our craft
  • a great communicator – letting teammates know what you are doing, what you need them to do or what you can do for them really helps the whole show
  • being reasonably technologically literate
  • value collaboration and be willing to work with your colleagues to resolve complex issues
  • being able to legally drive a car (minimum C class licence)
  • thinking on the go and be prepared to adapt to scopes that will change; and
  • putting safety first and making sure yourself and your colleagues return from the paddock in the same condition you left in.
