Genus Infrastructure NSW are looking for an experienced Storeperson for an exciting new position based in Prestons, NSW.

The Role

Genus Infrastructure are looking for an experienced Storeperson within the Powerline Industry for an exciting new position.

  • Material Receipt: Inspect, verify, and document incoming materials against delivery notes to ensure accuracy and quality. Inventory Management: Organize and store materials in designated areas, maintaining a clean and orderly depot.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and distributions using [specify system, e.g., manual logs or inventory software]. Material Distribution: Coordinate and issue materials to project teams as per requirements, ensuring timely availability.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of materials. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure basic maintenance and cleanliness of depot tools and equipment used for material handling. Reporting: Provide regular updates on inventory status and report any discrepancies or issues to the project supervisor.

The Candidate

Applicants must possess the following attributes & qualifications to be considered:

  • Previous store person experience within the Powerline Industry (desirable)
  • High-Risk Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Valid HR Driver Licence
  • High- Risk Forklift licence
  • High- Risk Dogging licence (desirable)
  • WH&S Construction White Card
  • Exceptional organisation, communication and time management skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Safety and Quality Focused with an understanding of WH&S regulations
  • Team Orientated
