A position has become available for a casual Practice nurse located in Jimboomba for immediate start. We offer a supportive team-based environment in which the practice nurse will work closely with GP's to deliver high-quality, individualised care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Assessments
  • Immunisation
  • Wound Care
  • Ear syringing
  • Minor Procedures
  • Recalls
  • ECG's and Spirometry
  • Cold chain vaccine management
  • Ordering stock and vaccines
  • General Practice support

Skills and Experience:

  • Current AHPRA registration: RN qualified
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management is advantageous
  • Capacity to multi task, prioritise and good time management
  • Must be pro-active with a can do positive attitude
  • Professional presentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior General Practice nursing experience is advantageous
  • Computer literate
