About the role

IMEA Group is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a 1st Year Electrical Apprentice. This is a full-time position based in our Fyshwick, ACT location. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced team of electricians.

What you'll be doing

• Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
• Learn to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Develop skills in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical circuits
• Participate in on-the-job training and off-site courses to gain your electrical qualifications
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Liaise with clients and other tradespeople to ensure project deadlines are met
