What is the Role?
Are you a graphic designer with an eye for detail and a passion for interiors/ home styling? This is your chance to join a growing furniture retail brand where creativity and lifestyle meet
We're on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented
Mid-Weight Graphic Designer
to cover a
12 month parental leave contract
and become part of our fun, collaborative in-house team.
While it's a fixed-term role, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of projects - from digital campaigns to beautifully designed print catalogues and styled photography shoots. With a
hybrid working model (2 days from home, 3 days in the office)
, this role offers the best of both worlds
Key Responsibilities
- Design Engaging Email Marketing (EDMs): Use Dotdigital to create and upload on-brand email campaigns that with engaging layouts that drive customer engagement and sales
- Create Digital assets: Develop web and paid advertising assets optimised for multiple platfforms
- Bring Print to Life: Design and layout catalogues, rangebooks, and promotional materials that showcase our furniture collections in a compelling way
- Deliver finished art: Ensure all artwork is prepared to a high standard for print with correct colour modes, crop marks, and bleed marks
- Creative direction: Design moodboards, help set the creative tone for campaigns, and provide on-set art direction to capture content for digital, print and social media use
- Brand Storytelling: Collaborate with the team and contribute creative ideas that strengthen and elevate our brand visual identity.
Skills and Experiences:
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who's more than just a great designer - you're curious, collaborative, and excited to see your work come to life across both digital and physical platforms. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Proven experience: 3-5 years in a graphic design role, preferably with exposure to retail, interiors, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred
- Technical strength: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- Finished art know-how: Experience in preparing finished artwork for print and digital channels, ensuring accuracy, quality, and attention to detail every time
- Digital marketing edge: Familiarity with EDM platforms (Dotdigital or similar)
- Creative flair: A keen eye for layout, colour, and typography, with the ability to adapt your style while keeping everything on-brand
- Collaboration skills: Ability to work collaboratively across different stakeholders including with marketers, photographers, and product developers
- Passion for interiors: A genuine interest in home-styling, furniture or creating welcoming living spaces is a plus - any experience in interior design is advantageous but not essential
- Agility and adaptability: Able to balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced retail environment without compromising on quality.
