About the role

Dee Why RSL is seeking a motivated and reliable Cellar Storeperson to join our dynamic team This is a casual role, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving, storing and rotating stock in the cellar to maintain quality.
  • Ensure the ongoing secure storage of all items contained or held within the cellar.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the cellar, ensuring it meets all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Placing orders for different departments and marking off invoices.
  • Assisting with the delivery and movement of kegs, food stock and beverage items as required.
  • Assisting our front of house venues by running stock before, during and after service.
  • Comfortable working hospitality hours, including evenings and weekends, as well as early mornings from 5:00am.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a cellar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Good physical fitness and the capacity to safely handle and move heavy stock.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • A commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Comfortable with being on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance standards.
