About the role

As a Phlebotomist with SA Pathology, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality laboratory services by undertaking specimen collection and venepuncture, courier runs, specimen sorting, accessioning and accurate data entry. Working under general direction, you will apply your practical skills and knowledge to ensure specimens are collected, processed and transported according to established protocols, while contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the laboratory.

In this role, you will interact with a wide range of people both inside and outside the organisation. You will work closely with medical, scientific, technical, operational and administrative staff within SA Pathology, while also providing professional and courteous communication with clients and patients. Your work will directly contribute to timely and reliable testing outcomes, supporting better healthcare across South Australia.
