Join our team in supporting a small group of senior women to maintain their independence within a nurturing environment. As a member of our compassionate team, you'll work within a faith-based organisation dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our Sisters. Your role will involve various tasks such as maintaining cleanliness, assisting with household tasks, and ensuring the comfort of our Sisters.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness standards, managing property and equipment, assisting with personal laundry and bed linen, and supporting residents with daily tasks. Additionally, you'll assist with meal service (no cooking), household supply procurement, and coordinating special celebrations. Your role will also involve greeting and coordinating hospitality for visitors and guests while ensuring the wellbeing of our Sisters.

We're looking for an individual with integrity, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caregiving. An understanding of Catholic life is preferable, as is experience working in a not-for-profit organisation. Physical capability to assist residents and carry out tasks, along with up-to-date vaccinations, is essential. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence, be willing to undergo relevant probity checks including Qld Blue card and obtain a food safety certificate if they don't already have this.
