Construction Project Manager

ConsultANZ is seeking a Construction Project Manager with expertise in managing and delivering large asphalt and pavement projects for our client in New Zealand.
Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Monitor costs and oversee procurement.
Lead the project team and ensure resource allocation.
Ensure quality, safety, and compliance on-site.
Handle contracts, change orders, and client communications.
Supervise construction activities and manage logistics.
Conduct final inspections and ensure project delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Relevant experience in pavements, roading, or asphalt projects.
Strong understanding and demonstrable experience in general civil engineering and technical aspects.
Previous work experience with a reputable Construction, Asphalting, or Surfacing company is required.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with pavement types, standard surfacing and asphalting practices, including supervision of material laying, quantification, ordering, testing, and quality monitoring.
Required experience and knowledge in auxiliary civil works related to surfacing and road construction, such as asphalting and chip seal operations.
An attractive, negotiable salary based on experience and qualifications.
