At Guppy's Early Learning Centre, we believe in providing personalised service that suits the unique needs of the children and families we care for. Our programs strongly emphasise play-based learning while recognising the importance of developing emotional, social, and communicative skills early in life. We believe our role as an early childhood provider is to nurture children's passion for learning and give them the opportunity to explore the world around them.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable Educator who wants to join our supportive team at our Townsville centre's. In this role, you will work within our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future. This is a part-time position and applicants need to be willing to learn and contribute to a caring, play-based environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Holds a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Quality Framework
  • Sound knowledge of current Regulation and Accreditation guidelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A passion for children
