We are currently seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and
well presented Village Administrator to join our team at Bethanie
Fields Retirement Village, located in Eaton. Co-located with an
aged care home, Bethanie Fields is home to a welcoming village
community consisting of 145 units and 210 residents. The village is
dynamic with a resident-led annual fete, active Men's Shed
and a gardening group.

This role is dynamic and comes with different challenges and
opportunities, therefore we are looking for a 'go getter' with a
passion for customer service. You will have well developed
administration skills along with a genuine interest in the aged
care industry.

The Village Administrator provides support to the Village
Manager in the day to day operational activities of the village and
is a key point of contact for our residents.

This role is offered on a permanent, part time basis working 4
days a week. The working hours will be 9am – 5pm.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative
    position, ideally in an aged care or retirement living
    environment
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to
    learn new processes and software quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a
    team
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The
    Bethanie Group
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one
    covid and annual flu)
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply
    for one)

The Role

  • Provide a high level of customer service to residents,
    visitors and contractors
  • Actively contribute to the development of a community
    culture within the village
  • Respectful and effective management of complaints,
    compliments and suggestions
  • Liaising between residents and contractors as required
  • Assist with all aspects of prospective and incoming
    residents
  • Raise all purchase order requisitions and liaise with
    suppliers
  • Supporting the Village Manager in preparing budgets,
    monthly reporting, coordinating services and managing village
    matters
  • Coordinate with residents and social committee on various
    items, including arranging catering for functions and
    distribution of communications such as newsletter
  • Other reception and general administrative duties as
    required
