Physiotherapist – Aged Care Services

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team providing high-quality care to residents in Aged care facilities. This role focuses on promoting mobility, independence, and quality of life for residents through evidence-based physiotherapy and collaborative care planning. You will already have experience in the day to day running of an Aged Care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans.
  • Deliver ongoing physiotherapy services including strength, balance, pain management, and falls prevention programs.
  • Complete manual handling assessments and support pain management planning.
  • Conduct private therapy sessions as required.
  • Participate in referrals, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Implement outcome measures
  • Run group therapy sessions

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in Aged care or rehabilitation preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $104,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
