ROLE DESCRIPTION
Position Title: English Teacher
Tenure: Ongoing Fulltime
Commencement Date: Thursday, 1 January 2026

Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join our dedicated faculty and inspire a love of literature, language, and critical thinking among our students. In this one year fixed-term position commencing Thursday 1st January 2026, you will teach English across Years 7-12, delivering engaging lessons that align with the Western Australian Curriculum and our Catholic ethos.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that develop literacy, analytical skills, and creative expression. There will be an opportunity to develop skills in teaching ATAR English.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that integrates Catholic values and promotes social justice themes.
- Contributing to co-curricular activities
- Collaborating with colleagues to support student wellbeing and holistic development.
