About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team at The Zimmermann OZ pty ltd' in Geebung, QLD. This full-time role will see you working on a variety of carpentry projects, contributing your skills and expertise to our growing business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carrying out a range of carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and the installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry
  2. Have an interest in highly energy efficient and healthy homes and be willing to learn more about building physics.
  3. Reading and interpreting plans, engineering and specifications to ensure work is completed to the required standard
  4. Collaborating with the project manager and other tradespeople to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects
  5. Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
  6. Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations on the job site

What we're looking for

  1. Completed trade qualification in Carpentry
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Carpenter in the residential construction industry
  3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  4. Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  6. Strong time management and organisational skills
  7. Commitment to safety and ability to work as part of a team
