The Future Fund is Australia's Sovereign Wealth Fund, managing over $300 billion across six public asset funds, including the $2.3 billion Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land and Sea Fund (ATSILS).  The ATSILS fund supports discretionary payments to the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to acquire and manage land, water and water-related rights so as to achieve economic, environmental, social or cultural advancement.

Your future opportunity

We are looking for future thinking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and recent graduates to join the Future Fund.  We have opportunities available throughout the agency in Investment, Investment Business Operations and Organisational enablement functions (including People, Culture & Inclusion, Corporate Affairs and Legal).

You can expect to:

• Collaborate with our sector specialists to research real world challenges that affect how we work

• Hear from investment leaders in a series of lunch and learns and get the chance to hone your networking skills.

• Build your professional skills in presenting, communicating, and collaborating and learn what it takes to be successful in future jobs.

About You

You should consider applying if you are:

• An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student in your final or penultimate year of your undergraduate degree or recently completed your graduate studies. Studying any relevant discipline including but not limited to commerce, economics, actuarial studies, science, engineering, law and humanities.

• Able to be based in Melbourne or Sydney for the duration of the internship
